Panera no longer offers good value for what you pay. I'll admit that the meal I got was filling but the flavor was just mediocre and my chicken ranch sandwich was mostly bread. You'll have to pay $3.49 for a cookie if you want a "cheap" sweet treat, otherwise you can buy other pastries for upwards of $5. Fortunately the sodas are refillable, which I believe is the only reason I was able to satiate my hunger. I'd recommend visiting In-n-Out across the street where you can still get a meal for a somewhat reasonable price.

Mini backstory: We drove all the way from Houston to experience the arrival of our God daughter at the nearby hospital. Baby's mom wanted food ASAP while she could eat so we ordered everyone Panera per her request, while in a rush to get to the hospital, my husband went inside to pick up our order with my name on the order and he had the order confirmation number. The girl/lady at pickup didn't let him get our order and repeatedly tried asking several questions he already had answered thinking he was stealing the order based on his looks. This was our first and last time going there, got there last Saturday at 8:30 pm ordered and food took about 10 minutes, a customer rep or whatever he was came to us and asked if we wanted notes to take our food because there about to close, literally 5 minutes later he came and said you guys need to (WRAP IT UP NOW) completely rude, so we gotbuo and left. Never again!!

When we came in, no one greeted us and helped us out. There was 3 employees near the door. We stood there for a good 5 minutes with no assistance nor anyone at the register. Then right when we were walking out, someone came in and they greeted them and told them that they’ll be right with them. We usually go to the location near our home but this was on the way from a trip. I’ve never seen such discrimination from this company as I did today.
