I'm not going to lie, the food was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC so if that's what you want to know you can stop reading the review right here. I don't know if it's just the restaurant's policy or if it's a personal choice that the waitress made but, as I was finishing my meal the portion of the entree exceeded the portion of the rice. And because it was so good I asked for a little extra rice and ended up being charged for a side order of rice that was $4. That's the price of 4 lbs of rice at the Kroger, for a scoop of plain white rice. Which brought my total for an appetizer an entree and water to 43

We had a wonderful time at Thai Rice this evening with 6 other people. The restaurant was full of oh's and ah's this evening. The restaurant & service is wonderful especially in a clean restaurant. We talked this Thai food up… telling everyone how delicious the food is. Michael & I always order the Papaya Salad and the crab fried rice. We just started adding pineapple to it. The Umami is outstanding. I didn't get photos of every one's plates. I can just tell you we had the some of the favorites. Thank you for making us comfortable & Kate you always provide great service.

The most sublime service here from start to finish, as well as some of the best crab rangoon I've tried recently. Presentation was noteworthy and prices were very fair. Comfortable decor, kid friendly, with an appropriately sized menu that emphasizes quality. Loved the cashew sprinkle on the side offered for my pad Thai, and the potstickers were uniquely delectable. Sometimes I can get a "recently reheated from a freezer bag" vibe at similar places- but that was absolutely not the case here. Warm atmosphere, decently quiet, perfect for a long conversation with a friend. I would return any time

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mom and I went to Thai Rice Restaurant for lunch on the recommendation of a good friend, and we are so glad we did! This hidden gem is located in University Town Plaza on Davis Highway—you won’t see it from the street, but trust me, it’s worth driving into the plaza to find. This family-owned restaurant has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owners truly make you feel at home, with Mom and Dad cooking in the kitchen while their son and daughter-in-law take care of guests. They are incredibly friendly, and their hospitality makes the experience even better. We had the pleas
