Absolutely brilliant experience at Squire’s Diner!! We visited two weeks ago and this place completely exceeded our expectations — it didn’t disappoint in the slightest! Ambience: From the moment we walked in, it just felt like the right place to be. We were a big group and I tried many things. Giving 2 stars for the relatively good service. However not once did the waiter came to check up on us after giving us our food. We didn’t even have extra napkins and all of the food we ate was very …mid. Coffee watered down Chicken Quesadillas tasted like diet quesadillas. Peppers weren’t even cooked and the tortilla was wheat … why? The French onion soup is basically a chicken soup with a lot of onions. The cheese on top was good though. a great neighborhood spot with something for everyone on the menu. there are not many diner’s around anymore in the city and this one has old timey charm. the service was quick and attentive, our coffee mugs were never empty. the portions are bigger than the photos in the menu and you really get your money’s worth.

We ordered dinner for delivery to our hotel. Dinner was hot when it got here and it arrived on time. I ordered a plain beef burger with ketchup and pickles for my son. It was a good sized patty, cooked to medium, on a sesame seed bun. He said it was really good. My older son ordered the chicken quesadilla without peppers or onions. He said it was good, but the quesadilla wrapper wasn’t what he was used to, or a flour tortilla like he was expecting. I wasn’t able to get a picture of the quesadilla because he ate it before I got a chance. My husband ordered a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich
