So much fun to eat here at Shift. The shareable menu options allow everyone to try something and it's a culinary adventure with fresh and local food. We started with the duck taquitos(3) which were very tasty and the heirloom carrots which out of this world! Dinner was Jidori Chicken thighs, the Cuban Flatiron steak and the Pork Chop all cooked to order and flavored to perfection. Dessert was three Carajillos, refreshing. We be back soon!! Oh almost forgot about our server, she was great!! She offered us an intermezzo before the main course, a Cilantro Sorbet that was out of this world!!

Shift kitchen was my favorite restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I was in flagstaff celebrating my 30th birthday with loved ones and going to Shift was perfect. We chose to do the tasting menu and each of us finished every plate that came our way. Highlights include the duck mole taquitos, the mezzo course of grapefruit sorbet with goat cheese and olive oil, and the incredible elote southwest salad to open the night. The drinks were boozy, tasty, and beautiful. Everything about the experience was excellent. I gush about it to everyone who asks what I’ve been up to. Thank you so much!

I so wanted to give 5 stars based on the hype, but couldn't due to poor quality dish and mid service. The tasting menu sounded great; however, it was explained incorrectly evidently. We got a lamb pasta instead of the elk chop. When we asked, the response was they had had just talked about this to staff so they couldn't understand how a mistake was made, and to offer us the elk chop we were told we were going to get at its additional charge. We never would would have ordered the tasting menu with the lamb pasta because one in our party does not like lamb. I love lamb, but this dish was so salt

If you want a fun dining experience with helpful abd friendly owner and staff I recommend Shift! Not a single dish leaves the kitchen without a personal touch from the head chef. Fun unexpected flavors including edible flower accents and relaxed yet dedicated atmosphere. My husband and I had a great time- Thank you.
