I have been coming in here to eat for well over 20 years May 10, 2026 was the worst service that I have ever had. The waitress was mad that waited on us slammed her food down That was lukewarm at best andnever come back to the table to see if we needed anything not even a to go container we had to go up to the counter for that while she sat at the counter and played on her phone. I’ve never seen her in there before she was a redhead woman We have always had great service but not Mother’s Day

I tried La Azteca Taco House for the first time and went all out with a big carryout order to share. Everything turned out phenomenal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and hit all the right notes with that authentic Mexican taste you don't always find. Portions were huge, so we had plenty left over, and the prices felt more than fair. The staff was super friendly, got the order ready fast, and the place has that classic, no frills neighborhood feel I like. I'm not even from Flint but I'll definitely be stopping back every time I'm in the area. Solid spot, highly recommend if you're craving good

A hometown favorite! Although I haven't lived in Michigan for a number of years, having some "back home staples" always puts you in a time machine to the good Ole days. La Azteca gets it right everytime, and have been a staple in the city for decades. I've never ordered anything outside of the tacos. This order is "6 fried hard with cheese", and they definitely hit the spot. Make sure to get the hot sauce😉 The customer service was amazing, the servers were attentive and constantly checked in on all the diners.
