First time going to Salsa Limon on Magnolia and was keeping my expectations low. Went there because my buddy loves breakfast tacos and loves getting breakfast all day long. Well, it was 1pm and personally, I didn't want breakfast. I wanted some barbacoa and a margarita. This restaurant came through with both. A great spot for tasty tacos with plenty of options. What I really liked is that every taco has both veg and non-veg protein choices, making it super easy to customize based on what you’re feeling. The food was flavorful and satisfying, and I really enjoyed their Jamaica Fresca—refreshing and the perfect pairing for the meal. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m craving tacos with some flexibility in choices.

Salsa Limón has never been a very affordable option but it’s always been damn tasty. Lots of things have changed over the years, but as long as they keep pressing those burritos, I will return. Milo, the face of ownership, represents his product well. It’s nice seeing him out and about the town, reminding people that much like himself, his restaurants are fun and best enjoyed with friends.
