OMG- If you love pretzels and pizza, this is the spot for you! They have combined that soft pretzel texture and somehow created it into the most delightful combination. We got their calzone and buffalo pizza. I do wish the pizza had a bit more of the vinegary tang but overall, very delicious! The calzone also phenomenal! Most calzones tend to be dry and simply fall apart, but this one held together until the very last bite.

The food was very good, and the portions were generous for the price. It’s a cute little place, and I can imagine it fills up quickly. I had a jalapeño-stuffed pretzel and a Philly cheesesteak pretzel calzone. The onions and mushrooms were a bit undercooked, but the crust was amazing. My wife had a cinnamon pretzel and the grilled chicken pesto sandwich on pretzel focaccia. Her only complaint was that the focaccia didn’t really have a pretzel taste, but otherwise the sandwich was very good. We’ll definitely be back and are looking forward to trying the pretzel pizza next time!

TLDR: Fun twist on pizza with pretzel dough. Buffalo chicken pizza and cheesesteak calzone are both must orders. Stopped into Pretzel & Pizza Creations for lunch while walking around downtown Frederick on a Saturday and honestly didn’t expect to like it as much as I did. The setup is classic slice shop style. You order at the counter, grab a number, and they bring the food out to you. The space is cozy with mostly 2 tops that can be pushed together plus a few 4 tops in the back. Didn't even know this place existed. I just typed in Google where can I buy a pretzel near me and they recommended this. I went and got myself a pretzel and turkey in provolone sandwich with chips. Atmosphere inside was awesome. They were playing Pearl jam's Black when I ordered my food at the kiosk. Gen X vibes. Got my food to go. It was really good and I'll definitely be back.
