Visited Dave’s Hot Chicken while in Gilbert for lunch after driving by it countless times since they opened — a friend (Teresa) finally gave me the push to stop in. The atmosphere was very casual and laid-back, with a lively buzz, varied seating, and both indoor and outdoor options. The service was friendly and efficient, especially considering how busy the place was. Tried the hot chicken — a nice, solid piece with good crunch and flavor; timing may not have been ideal after just having Hattie B’s in Nashville, but it still held its own.
