I was trying to leave zero stars, but it won’t let me this was the worst meal that I’ve had and maybe my life! I paid $35 and I feel like I’ve been scammed! The food is tasteless and when you look at the photos, the food looks like it came from a food bank with no seasoning! I am highly upset and look at my cornbread. It looks like a burnt brick. This is despicable and I will eat out of the garbage can at my house before I eat at this establishment again. Look at the photos.

I recently moved to town from the west coast and had been missing my usual family restaurant that I used to patronize often, especially for a good, hot breakfast on a weekend morning. I was not disappointed at Alex's. Solid food, great service, friendly atmosphere, clean restaurant. Nothing really stood out as different or special about the food. It was just solid home-cooked comfort food. No complaints there. The ONLY very slight shortcoming that I saw was that the food took a little longer than expected to come out.
