Met with 3 friends on Saturday. I'm glad I made reservations 2 of us had the ny strip. Mine was cooked perfect medium rare, and seasoned great. The steak was the star. We ordered a bunch of sharable sides. Augratin potatoes creamed spinach asparagus and several mushroom sides. All good ( although admittedly I didn't have the asparagus until I ate leftovers and by then it was my fault they were a little soft) The service was better than you get at most places. They were very knowledgeable about the menu. And prompt with

I had the lemon broiled fish special first. Fish was under cooked and was rubbery. My replacement fish was very bland deep fried cod. Nothing to write home about except the potatoes. Those were good. I expected FAR better from Steven's restaurant. For as much as we paid, I expected superior food. 2 of 4 folks in our group were disappointed in our meals.

Last minute Saturday night booking and very happy this is where we ended up. Our waiter was excellent. Knowledgeable and personable. Timed our meal well. The menu is extensive and I would have been happy with at least a half dozen choices. Running some Oktoberfest specials. Good wine list. Reasonable portions. Flavorful. For a first time visit I was impressed. Our friends were repeats and happy as well. Bonus you can hear six flags roller coaster riders screaming while in the parking lot, so we passed on the outdoor tables 😛
