We stopped into Freskos in Hamden and were blown away! We ordered the classic gyros, garlic feta fries, and spicy feta dip, and every bite was absolutely delicious. The gyros were perfectly seasoned and tender, the garlic feta fries were addicting, and the spicy feta dip was the perfect mix of creamy and flavorful. Excellent Greek food in Hamden. Hands down the best chicken souvlaki in the area! We had a wonderful experience at this local Greek restaurant. The food was fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The gyros were perfectly seasoned, the Greek salad was crisp and refreshing, and the homemade tzatziki was outstanding. It's great to have such a quality neighborhood restaurant, and we'll definitely be returning to try more items from the menu. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious Greek food.

The food was tasty enough but really not a good value for the price. A shared meal for two, 2 gyros + 1 fries was almost $40. It really was not enough food for almost $40, my wife and I had to find more to eat after finishing to get full. Either it should be way more food or it should be cheaper like $25-30.
