I'll be honest-- I haven't been here in two years ever since they gave me a hot dog on a moldy bun... based on other reviews, it seems that people's experiences here are still a bit shaky. However, tonight, I had a good experience that has made me delete my review and make a new one. I was mighty woozy after drinking all day, so I biked over to grab something yummy to eat late at night. Considering there were no other restaurants open nearby, I redownloaded the app and got a free double cheeseburger, two wraps, and a jr cheeseburger... My order was just below $7, and man-- it was delicious.

I have only gone to the Sonic location on Barrington Road in Streamwood three times within the past year, and every single visit has been an unacceptable experience. Each time, I have waited approximately 30 minutes for very small orders, including just food and drinks. That is absolutely ridiculous for a restaurant that is supposed to be “fast food.” This most recent visit was no different. We waited 30 minutes for a cheeseburger, a hot dog, and two drinks, yet no apology was ever given and no explanation was provided. I come here often when I’m feeling good and need to reward myself, you know. The slushies are amazing, mozzarella sticks are also great. I’ve never had to wait more than maybe 3 minutes, employees are friendly and quick. Would recommend!

It had been over 10 years since I last had Sonic and upon my last visit I was reminded why. I downloaded the app thinking this would make my carryout go more quickly and smooth. Super easy to use. I placed my order, got the confirmation. Upon arrival I check in and see my order in process on the dashboard. I jump on my tiktok and 25 minutes go by with no food yet. I had fries, a burger, and that chili frito thing. I felt i was pretty patient and did not want to be a pest but 25 minutes at a fast food spot was suspicious. I hit the call button and asked if everything was good with my order. I
