Went for dinner with my wife and Tropical Grill was a solid pick. Portions: Huge. My wife and I didn’t even finish our plates, and that’s rare for me. The portions are so big I actually told them while they were dipping up the food to put some back because it was too much. You definitely get your money’s worth. Food: Food was good – flavorful, well-seasoned Caribbean comfort food. Simple, filling, and hit the spot. Service/Vibe: Went in the evening and it wasn’t too busy, so no wait. It’s walk-up style: you go to the counter, tell them what you want, they dip it up, then you sit yourself. F

I was introduced to this place by my cousin. Nice spot where you can dine. This place gets packed during lunch hours. I always get the yellow rice with the black beans and grilled chicken covered with honey mustard sauce! Sometimes even their sweet plantains…

Please check prices before placing a food order. They seem to make up prices as they go, which is very dishonest. My hairstylist ordered food from here before and it looked great, so I decided to try it for the first time. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I was charged $16 for a shrimp salad after being told it was $11. To make matters worse, when they packed my order, they placed the salad underneath hot food. By the time I opened it, the salad was warm and tasted old. Definitely not the experience I expected for a first visit.
