Been coming here since I was a teenager. Although the owners have changed, the new owners have kept serving the same signature menu items that put this place on the Harlingen community map. Locals know..., out of towners - come and see why locals love to eat here with Hugo and his wonderful family that put God first and it shows because everything else falls into place. My personal favorite and go to is the large Carne guisada taco with rice, beans, and cheese. Had a late breakfast thanks to El Taquito serving extended hours on breakfast late on Saturdays.

Everything is good except that I ordered a fajita taco and it is totally different like it just to be. To begin, it was NOT fajita, it was carne de cortadillo, like the one for carne guisada.
