Great experience at Cafe Fiorello! The service was great and the ambiance truly felt like an old school NYC Italian restaurant! We had the calamari appetizer which was fantastic. My husband had the Chicken Parmigiana allá Vodka which he enjoyed. My lasagna (pictured) was great…except there was way too much noodles around the edges. It’s creative and tasty the way they cook the lasagna, but around the edges it’s just multiple layers of noodles with no sauce or cheese or meat. I ended up eating the middle of the lasagna and left about half of the edges uneaten. Otherwise, great place to check

Their service is immaculate, the kind of old school red sauce joint that makes sure you are at home. We needed to eat a meal in forty five minutes and they prioritized us and cleaned for us so quickly. We got every dish (antipasti bar plus bread plus two pastas) in ten minutes. As for the food, the star was the garlic bread. Fluffy and buttery with a crunch on the outside and so soft on the inside, you could eat it with any drink or any side. My favorite antipasti was the eggplant caponata for it's soft salty vegetal depth. I was also a fan of the mushroom trifolati for its umami and light oi

Such a lovely Italian spot. I ordered the scallops risotto and it was absolutely delicious — the scallops were fresh, perfectly cooked, and paired so well with the creamy risotto. The outdoor seating made the whole experience even better and created such a nice atmosphere for dinner. For dessert, I had the homemade cheesecake topped with strawberries and warm chocolate sauce. Such an amazing combination that wasn’t overly sweet and was the perfect way to end the meal.

Cafe Fiorello delivered an excellent dining experience from start to finish. The service was polished, attentive, and welcoming, while the atmosphere felt upscale without being stuffy. The meatballs and calamari were solid starters, but the Rigatoni alla Vodka stole the show with great flavor and generous portions. The risotto and scallops were delicate, well executed, and delicious. The standout was the homemade garlic bread, which easily ranks among the best I’ve had. A perfect dinner spot near Lincoln Center.
