I've had a lot of time to think about this, & Victor's Cafe is without a doubt the best restaurant experience I have ever had. Yes, I've had great food all over the world, but nothing compares to the level of service I received at Victor's. Our table overlooked the gorgeous dining room with beautiful decorations, and it really nailed the Cuban vibe they were going for. On the day we visited, they had a special Afro/Cuban Food Celebration menu. This and their regular menu had so many options that it was difficult to decide what to get. It was delicious. The staff were amazing and the customer service was very attentive. We were celebrating a birthday and they gave us a nice card, which was a thoughtful touch. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. The mojito was a bit underwhelming. Someone said it would tie everything together, but it was a little too sweet. Dessert was also just okay. The crumble wasn’t really crumbling, and the guava layer was a bit too thick. In hindsight, we should have gone with the flan. They had two types, one egg custard and espresso flan. Pre show dinner was amazing! From the ambiance, to the food and drinks, to the service (beyond exceptional service from Juan - esp making sure about my shellfish allergy, thank you so much!!), it was worth every single penny! I am from out of state, but will def be coming back to try other dishes!

Our first visit to Café Victors. Enjoyed dinner; octopus, baccala stew in banana leave, paella vegetables, tropical chips & coffee latte. The flavors were delicious! A suggestion that all apps be served at the same time. The atmosphère charming and warm vibes.
