Food was really well made and tasty. We had the mussels for starter, cacio e pepe, beef pasta, lobster pasta and the wolf burger. The lobster pasta is a tad too spicy but still good. Everyone loved the mussels! Albeit I had initially expected the grilled octopus that had really good reviews but it wasn’t in the menu anymore. The atmosphere was laid back but still high end. Great for dates as well as family lunches. I personally loved the open kitchen, it added to the culinary experience and I wish had taken more pictures. Want to go back really bad.

We made a reservation for counter seating and didn’t realize it was basically the same as bar seating, since the reservation site listed bar seating and counter seating as separate sections. The woman at the front seemed a little cold at first, but she kindly accommodated us with an actual table for our party of three, which we appreciated. The beer and cider were both cold and refreshing, and our waiter was very friendly throughout the meal. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious — every dish we ordered was amazing. Since we live only a few minutes from Nordstrom, we’ll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. The only downside was that the food took a little longer than expected to come out, but overall we still had a great experience.

Need to kill some time while the wife shops at Nordstrom? Hit Wolf on the 2nd floor between the elevators. You can look out over 57th Street from the window while enjoying octopus 🐙 and beef tartare. The tagliatelle was delicious too. I wasn’t in the mood for alcohol but the bar looked good, if you are so inclined. Nice!

We planned this trip to New York way in advance so we had to research the best places to eat etc. Wolf was by far the best restaurant we ate in - the food was beyond fantastic with bold flavors both indulging and refreshing at the same time. Traditional fare with a modern take and almost Californian flair so it didn’t feel heavy although we devoured a table full of dishes. The ambiance is modern minimal and elegant the service flawless but the food I will remember for a while because it was just that good. We will be sure to book again before we leave and will be sad to leave it when we go back to Thailand because it now has become one of my favorites places of all time. Addition July 9 - we just had our second visit here for lunch instead and it was just as good as the first or even better. We had the opportunity to try the desserts as well as the lunch special halibut and it was superb!

Second time visiting and I must say kudos to the chef. The food is consistently good. I tried the gnocchi this time and my partner ordered the rigatoni! They were both delicious! Everyone here is so fashionable, lol. From the host to the Manager with bangs. Service was attentive and friendly but not overbearing. You can tell they genuinely enjoy their jobs.
