This is my go to spot when I’m craving fried chicken and ribs. The chicken n rib combo never disappoints when it’s freshly made. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy inside, the ribs are saucy and tender, and the cornbread is one of my favorite parts of the meal (soft, slightly sweet, and freshly made). Whether you order inside or through the drive-thru, the customer service has always been friendly and welcoming. They move pretty quickly too, which I appreciate. If you’re in the Hempstead area and in the mood for good comfort food this spot is definitely worth checking out

The only thing I’ve ever ordered from them is fried chicken wings. The past 2-3 times the wings have good flavor (as usual) but have been extremely salty. This time I ordered 40 wings, on-line, for pick up time of 5:00. I got there approximately 5:05 and waited until the couple ahead of me ordered their food. Just visited Wings’n’Things and it was absolutely delicious! We ordered the family combo and the 1/2 rack of ribs. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and very meaty and juicy on the inside. The pork ribs were falling right off the bone and melting in your mouth. The portion of French fries was very generous, too. Everything tasted fresh and truly mouthwatering. We’ll definitely be back!
