Real deal. Made me think of the bars with real food back in Illinois and Indiana. It’s not the frou-frou fancy food like some bars carry locally. The place is noted for their award winning wings and they deliver on that statement. Wings were incredible with the Carolina bbq and the pork tenderloin sandwiches were old school hubcap sized plus let’s talk the steak fries up! Hammers Grill & Bar ended up being a great find. It’s family-friendly with plenty of free parking, and the layout makes it easy to choose your vibe: there’s a gaming section, a dedicated bar area, and a separate restaurant dining space. Service was quick without being overbearing. They check in when it counts, not every five minutes, which I appreciated. The food was solid across the board. We did a pickup order. I was really wanting a good cheeseburger and others have said they had good burgers. Unfortunatly I was very disappointed. I requested some pink in it, but it came burned. I was already home when I looked at the food. At that point I had to just deal with it. I was too tired to go back out. We don't have many great restaurants in this area. I was really hoping this would be a good go-to for a great burger.
