I visited Mici for the first time and mentioned this to the cashier while asking for help with the menu. She was friendly, and after placing my order, she flipped the register around and presented me with my total and a pre-selected 15% tip—before I even received any food. I accepted it and chose to receive my receipt by email, so I didn’t notice the additional 3% “operations fee” until I got home. For a first-time guest, that felt misleading. Not from around highlands ranch so we were hungry after our AMC movie and we discovered this place through google maps. Very good italian-american food. The calzone was very tasty and all the food comes out extra hot from the oven. The gelato is good as well, and overall we were pleased with the experience. Additionally: i’ve seen this in 3 or more negative reviews now, but if can’t afford a service fee or a measly 10% tip go to mcdonald’s next door. this food is fresh and made to order, that counts for quality and should get a healthy tip

Nice fast casual Italian restaurant. Their pizza is quite good. It's not New Haven, but it's still good. I go there fairly often.

First time at Mici. It was good. I thought the pizza tasted like it was missing something. Nice outer crust, a bit soggy the rest of the crust under toppings. The salad was good. Gelato was average but who doesn't like gelato! I would eat there again, but nothing special. My friend has gluten allergies so she was happy to go there because they offer gluten free pizza.
