We moved to the area of the Goat Dublin two years ago. We have always enjoyed the food but, frankly, the service is awful far too often. However, anytime we sit at the bar and have Mario working, it’s the best experience. Good food, quick drinks, great service. I wish that was the standard for the place all around, but at least we know Mario will deliver a quality experience when he’s in the house. He’s the reason I’m leaving five stars. Mario gets five stars.

The food is very meh, not horrible, but definitely not great. My biggest issue is the service. The waitresses often don’t even realize you’re there The bigger issue is the bartenders. In my experience, they usually come off rude, miserable, or just sloppy with their service. I had one good experience with a bartender once (a girl ) but every other time it’s been disappointing (it’s always men bartender with big attitudes) It honestly feels like they’re annoyed you’re there, which makes no sense in hospitality. We absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is really nice, the happy hour menu has a different dish for every weekday at a great price, and the burgers are amazing! In particular, we really enjoyed the Nashvegss burger. I am a sucker with anything with pimento cheese. The bacon on this burger is so delicious too. This is going to be a place we frequent!
