Found this cool spot on a late winter morning on a weekend to LA. This is what you want a coffee/breakfast spot to feel like. It says take your time we’ll be here when you’re ready, no long cues or lines, a succinct and palate friendly menu. The welcoming large communal table near the entry way with a group of patrons enjoying both the company and their coffee was reassuring and created a wonderful vibe. Avocado toast was pretty good, very simple but with fresh ingredients while the bread was perfectly toasted. Earl gray cold brew was really good and not overpowering coffee itself tasted pretty high quality and not overly bitter. Staff treats everyone like family which is a nice touch and feels super casual.

There are several excellent and unique boutique coffee stops on this strip and this one is especially representative of Hollywood today. Includes a bakery and kitchen with excellent offerings. My personal fave--plenty of tables and plugs for the laptop. If you want to linger, grab a hearty meal (breakfast and more, see menu) and write the next novel or blockbuster while supporting a coffee habit, this ticks all the boxes. Knowledgeable and approachable staff, and dog friendly as a bonus.

So hot sitting inside 🥵 Coffee is the best I've had in LA yet (not been here long though ...) but my breakfast sandwich was kinda whatever even though it was like $15. No sauce or any trimmings just an egg and some bacon in a muffin. I put some ketchup and it got a lot better. Bacon was banging though. Barista super nice, great music, nice vibes.
