Went here to have breakfast with my dear friend that I hadn't seen in a really long time. The food staff was super nice and let us stay there for 2-1/2 hours talking and getting caught up. The food was good, too.

They stopped offering gluten free options. We went there specifically so that I could get gf pancakes. Even the omelettes have gluten because they add pancake batter. The only item on the menu that is tagged as gluten-free is the egg white omelette. Not appealing to me at all. We ended up leaving and going to a small family business. Our waitress was gracious enough to comp the coffee. 5 stars for the wait staff, 0 stars for alternative food choices. If you are looking for gluten-free pancakes and waffles in Huntington Beach, go to Green Street Cafe on Warner Ave.

Our visit was defined by our server, Luz. She was perfection, beginning as the hostess through server, and cashier. Even though she was the only one on duty and everyone who came in was in her section, she was friendly and welcoming, She proactively let us know how our order was doing and checked in several times to see how we were doing. I got the Eggs Benedict, which were VERY overcooked, but I didn’t make a fuss because these things happen. Overall everyone else, who got more simple meals were happy.
