I ordered through uber eats. I’m from nyc, born and raised in a Dominican and Puerto Rican neighborhood and the pollo guisado was great. The rice was done well but the beans I’m sure would’ve been nice had I received more than just bean broth, barely received actually beans (please next time make sure to scoop from the bottom). The maduros were not ripe when made so they were incredibly dry and inedible. I honestly don’t understand some of these one star review complaining about the service and the noise. I had a great date night with the wife and this restaurant was fantastic. Yes, it was a little loud but we had expected that to be the case with the culture being big on music and dancing. The mango and passion fruit Margarita were amazing!! Also, I had both the classics and mango mojito. I was quite impressed because they were made fresh and muddled to perfection. The roasted pork mofongo was delicious. Unfortunately, I too, had a bad experience. I walked in & there were no bar seat which was okay but an inconvenience. I then asked the bartender to be seated. S serve came out and obliged. Once bring seat after a few moments (to long in my opinion) she brought me a menu lucky as I was standing by the bar I grabbed a Togo menu so I was already technically fine (I guess) to make a long story short; the waitress too forever to take my order the food took forever to come out she never approached me in the 40 minutes I waited about when the food would be ready.
