Hal & Mal’s was a fantastic stop on my 2,600-mile road trip to pick up my daughter from college in Louisiana. I was charging my Tesla across the street and decided to come in, and I’m glad I did. The atmosphere was excellent, the food was outstanding, and the overall vibe made this place memorable. I’ll definitely be back to experience one of their live music nights. Allie was a great host as well. Highly recommended.

I wish I could remember our servers name she was GREAT was very friendly had great recommendations, giggled a little when my husband asked for more cranberry juice for his drink :) only took one drink each for us Food was excellent and the guy spinning vinyl played the music he requested!!! 100 out of 10 Hubby had red beams and rice and I had a roast beef po boy

I really enjoyed eating here! The menu all sounds so good it’s hard to choose but the catfish po’boy was fresh and delicious, and the fries were excellent. The atmosphere is vibrant, and the team are welcoming and helpful. I’d definitely recommend visiting.

Went with a friend who ordered the catfish tacos and enjoyed them. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Our server was very nice, but not the most attentive. The atmosphere is pleasant and the place qas clean. I ordered the bacon wrapped steak and was very disappointed with it. Ordered medium rare and got nesrly well done. No real sear on the steak and the flavor was lackluster. The bacon just sat kinda soggy beside the steak. Definitely not worth the almost $40 price tag.
