My friends and I were visiting Jefferson City and ordered takeout from Madison’s to enjoy back at our hotel. The wholenexperince was just ablet down from what I remember as it once was. It took several minutes just to get seated and then a few more before the waiter came to the table. Couldn't tell you our waiter's name as they never introduced themselves. Which usually creates a more inviting experience. In my opinion. Reading the table and understanding when to fire courses. Our waitress, Brandy, was excellent! The food was delicious. The house salad is most definitely a must..highly recommend! The stuffed mushrooms and cream of mushroom soup were very good. The Cod Fish and French fries were equally delicious. Will definitely be back! *Parking stinks but worth the walk!!

I would consider my family frequent and long term customers of Madison’s Cafe. I haven’t been in a while and was really craving it. I picked up a to go order and ordered toasted ravioli (appetizer) and a combination salad. I also got two tiny slices of bread with my order and they used to provide enough bread to fill a bag. My total was $29.XX. I’m sorry…… how much??? I can buy a box of toasted ravioli at the store for $6 and that salad is nothing but iceberg lettuce.
