I stopped by Boulevard Drinks on 5/24/26 and thought it was pretty good overall. The hot dog was tasty and definitely worth trying if you’re in the area, but for me it didn’t quite live up to all the hype. The pineapple drink was probably my fav. I could drink that all day. I paid $21 and change for four hotdogs and two drinks. It’s a solid local spot with a lot of history and a loyal following, and I can see why people enjoy it. I’ve been hearing rumblings about this iconic place being forced to close at their current location. So I stopped by before my night class to show them support!! I first had some hot dogs with ketchup and cheese and they were absolutely delicious! Then i heard other customers ordering their hot dogs with chili, and I just had to experience it first hand what the chili is all about, and I wasn’t let down- it was just as good!!! Close to 100 years in business for GOOD REASON. People have been telling me boulevard drinks is a staple of Jersey city—I can see why! There signature chili cheese dog is a classic, and it’s delicious. It’s simple yet flavorful. Good prices and good people. Recommend this spot for a quick eat. Thank you guys!
