The waitress was very nice and accommodating, and I appreciate the friendly service we received. Unfortunately, the food was average, and I’ve definitely had better. The dining area could use some attention, and when I paid at the counter, I could see into the kitchen. It appeared unclean, with a sink full of dirty dishes, which wasn’t very reassuring. The restaurant was also quite warm inside. After eating here, my child developed symptoms consistent with food poisoning later that night. The food at Kennedy Café surprised us in the best way. Falafel, hummus, Chicken Shawarma, and Chicken Skewers everything tasted spot‑on. But the chicken skewers… absolutely next level. Juicy, fresh, and full of flavor. Since it was Key West and already blazing hot outside, the only disappointing part was that the AC wasn’t working, which made the dine‑in experience a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, the place was great, and the food alone makes it worth recommending.

Great food overall. The Uzbek plov was good, though I wish we had tried it fresh. The lagman was excellent—especially the hand-pulled noodles—and the samsa was outstanding. The Napoleon cake dessert was also delicious. As someone from Central Asia, I can confidently say the food was surprisingly good—something I’d expect to find in Brooklyn, not in Key West.
