My husband brought me home a torta from here just now. It was the best torta I’ve ever had. Good bread, meat, mayo, avocado combination. Perfect size. Excellent tacos too..good hot sauce. We are very lucky to have Burritos House here in La Crosse!

Usually I knock a star for cleanliness in the store. If I'm giving it a 5-star rating, that saying something. The menu is what you'd expect with food prepared fast ala street cart. Everything is great on the menu. My go-tos are Trotas, Tacos, or a Quesadilla. Burritos are offered. I think your stomach space is better spent on other offerings. The Tortas are amazing. When you watch them make your food, you'd think that the bread is light and airy. But when you pick it up, there is some serious heft and body to the bread. Took a little too long for me to final try to spot out. Hands down the best burritos in town. Service was very fast as well though I was a little late and the place was pretty empty. Definitely going to be returning to try other things on the menu. Primary down side would be the location. Not the easiest corner to get to for sure (same issue with Five Star Eggrolls honestly).
