I ordered a bowl of menudo and a house margarita on 6-26-26. 6pm. The menudo was brought in a bowl on top of a plate. The menudo was splashing around when the wait person brought it. It arrived with juice/oil slick all over the outside of the bowl with a puddle on the plate (my bowl was sitting in the puddle). 🤦‍♀️. Oh, and there was an oil slick on top of the menudo and lined along the inside of the bowl. Obviously, that is considered "presentable." The Mexican food was good. My husband and I had not eaten here in years and years. We had chicken tacos for lunch and a drink each. The bar drinks were good as well. The server was very nice and polite. The young man who seated us was not very polite. Took us to a booth without saying anything. I thought that was rude. Customers want to be acknowledged. The prices were very decent. We will go back. There was parking in the back with an entrance. The decorations were cute, adding to the atmosphere.

Kiara was the best! Back patio is such a fun space. The enchiladas, tostadas, chicken and rice soup and chips/salsa were all spectacular as always. The veggie fajitas had a lot to be desired, pretty much all green peppers and onions that could stand to be cooked more.

I have visited this location a few times in the past and had generally okay experiences, which is why I was disappointed by my most recent visit. Despite there being very few customers in the restaurant, our food took quite a while to arrive. When my meal finally came out, it appeared to have been reheated in a microwave. The plate was extremely hot, there were splatters around the edges, and the beans and rice were noticeably dried out.
