I always try to come here when in Las Cruces. It has been a few years since I have been here. Either I have changed or the food has changed. I ordered the 14oz ribeye, same as what I have always ordered. It was no bueno. The fat on the edges was so hard I couldn't even cut it. I ordered medium, which they didn't make it to. It may have been the worst ribeye I have ever had in a restaurant. The bread, which used to be a thing to look forward to, was just not good. I need to start off with a shout out to our server, Kalyan B.. She was attentive, articulate and energetic with a bright smile. She made sure our beverage glasses were always full. The prime rib was perfectly and simply seasoned. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare temperature. The portion options are excellent. We opted for the 8 Oz. portion and we still had left overs. My husband's French Dip with fries looked amazing and tasted delish. We enjoyed the salad bar too. Crispy lettuce with amazing array of toppings. Soup was also available. Meal pricing was reasonable. Give this place all the stars! We visited on Friday, May 8, in the afternoon. This location is one of many other locations in the regional chain, so we knew what to expect. This is by far the nicest Cattle Baron we have ever been to. The food was fantastic. The place was sparkly clean. But what really stood out was the kindness and attentiveness from all of the staff. Will definitely be back when we want a good meal.
