I’ve never eaten at El Pollo Loco before. I had a friend that wanted me to go and said they used to go all the time and it was so good. Well. It was awful! You can see my receipt and what was ordered. It wasn’t a lot but we had to tell the lady THREE times because she kept getting it wrong. The tenders seemed like they had been sitting all day. Really hard and dry. The lady taking my order asked what sauce I wanted and named the 3 they have listed. I said ranch. Ranch is on their menu/board. Well I got the lime one with my order. I went up and said I wanted ranch, the boy said they don’t carry

We just wanted a simple chicken meal and remembered El Pollo Loco and that it was pretty good. That was not the case this time around, the cashier didn't understand me and I had to repeat my order three times because she kept hearing different things for the sides. When the food came out my chicken looked and tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for at least a few hours, and my rice was cold.
