Jacqueline Telljohann★★★★Stop #2 at Grand Central Market was this PB&J shop. It looked really interesting, but no one was around to order. Luckily after 10 minutes or so, someone came back. We got two PB&J's: - Indian - Elvis with Marshmallow Fluff They serve them uncrustable style which I wasn't really a fan of. I'd rather have a normal sandwich. That being said, the Indian PB&J was uniquely delicious. The cashew butter with curry flavor knocked it out of the park. The Elvis tasted like a normal PB&J to me. We couldn't really find much marshmallow fluff so that didn't seem worth the addition. It might seem weird
Gabriel Vazquez★★I must admit, I like the fact that all the ingredients are locally made with organic ingredients. But this one was not for me. Ordered an Old School which unfortunately had to ask for a different jam as it was made with strawberries and it is the one thing I do not eat. A $5.50 sandwich as specified in their menu turned out to be almost $9, I assume because they had to use a different jam (blueberry) and I was offered the option to have it toasted. Flavor wise, not impressed and did not meet that expectation of bringing back those childhood memories. Definitely would give it another try.
Jeff L★★★★Not a bad place to go to get a unique twist on the classic Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwich. Was recommended the Red Eye (for coffee lovers) and the Old Fashioned. The combination of flavors is decent but it definitely felt a little overpriced. Would recommend to other people but would warn them about the price.
Priscilla Usmani★★★★I first laughed at the thought of gourmet PBJ, and figured that I had to try it cause I LOVE PBJ. The guy lured me in by telling me that I should try the samples, their whole menu is sample-able, haha. They average in about $7.50 for a PBJ, but it's definitely worth it because of the material they use to make the PBJ. I liked their Chocolate Haze and Old Fashion. The Old Fashion had a pretty strong taste of the orange zest but I was craving chocolate more, so I went with that one. Watching them make the PBJ was pretty satisfying itself! He created it so delicately and used the IG worthy pre
