A historic tavern turned into a grungy dive bar - and it works! The food is amazing. The Poe burger is easily one of the best I've had in my life. Didn't get around to try the drinks, but they do have a decent collection of beers on tap. The vibes are chill. They have both bar and table seating, service at the former is splendid. There's some historical curiosities here and there - perhaps most famously the belt fans above, but also some tidbits behind the bar. Ask your server! All in all, worth writing home about.

Got to see the Attic celebrating Edgar Allen Poes Birthday today! So Cool to see inside- this place is Such a Vibe & a historical landmark ☆Poe was a patron☆ Now that Im a Local ill definitely be coming back for more Events! The staff was so Warm and welcoming! I got extra cheeries in a side dish with my Shirley Temple! Wonderful date with my Hubby!

Very old and very cool local bar. Food is good. Had a BLT and it was very smoky and delicious. The drinks are very reasonable and the staff is great. The decor is nice and comfortable. Everything was good except the so called buffalo onion rings...not buffalo. Keno is always a plus!
