Ming Lu★★★★★While visiting South Philly, we originally planned to try another restaurant, but it was closed. We decided to give D'jakarta Cafe a try since it had great reviews, and we were genuinely surprised by both how nice the space is and how amazing the food turned out to be. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Parking - Street Parking Atmosphere - The restaurant is on the smaller side with limited seating, but it feels modern and thoughtfully designed. The Diep★★★★8/10 Come highly recommended by a friend, the food was tasty but the portion was small imo. Over it was a pleasant experience, it is nice to be able to experience good form another culture.
Mario Christianto★★★★★You know it's authentic when most of the patrons are actual indonesian expats. The food is certainly the strong point. The satay were tender with food peanut sauce. The grilled fish is a mist try!! Crispy caramelized skin and excellent shrimp-paste chili. The sauteed bean sprout was fresh, delicious pairing with all the heavy hitters. The restaurant is small but the service is reasonably quick so there's a good turnaround. Very friendl
YOOKO FPD★★★★★Came as a party of 3 (all of us are Indonesian) and were very happy to find the various selections on their menu. We ordered “Babi Kecap”, “ Nasi Rendang platter” and “Bakmi Kepiting.” SURPRISINGLY DELICIOUS AND CLOSE TO WHAT THEY TASTE LIKE back home. It’s a nice comfort to find a taste of home in these meals.
