Great experience! The food is real Cuban food, full of authentic flavor and great quality. You can truly feel the respect for our culture in every dish. This little hole-in-the-wall spot is everything I had hoped it would be. Authenticity drips from this place like condensation on the outside of a cold lemonade. I ordered the Hemingway Rice, which was delicious with its bits of fish, toothy and tender shrimp, and lobster tail. It was encircled by a wreath of a simple salad and perfectly fried plantains. My server was a friendly young man who spoke Spanish with a that Cuban accent I hadn't heard in years. The dish was a little spendy, but it was so delicious and filling what I believe it's worth the cost. There isn't too much seating here,

What an incredible experience! Even though the restaurant was technically closed for lunch, the owner greeted us in the parking lot, invited us inside, and insisted on cooking for us anyway. That alone says everything about the heart behind this place. Every inch of the restaurant is filled with history, photos, and stories — and the owner took the time to share his journey with us.
