Old-fashioned home-cooking like granny used to make. Down-home cozy ambiance and friendly service but pack your patience, as it can be slow. Known for their wide array of freshly prepared vegetable sides and fruit cobblers. They could be a little more heavy handed on the seasonings to suit younger tastes. But I do appreciate the step back in time because not many places doing food like this anymore. Breakfast served all day.

Good food, good service. Booth seats are getting a little worn out and lumpy. I was greeted and seated right after entry. As soon as I was seated I was acknowledged by the server and in a short minute had a menu in front of me and a drink order in. (Why is this so hard at s many restaurants?) Shortly after she returned with my tea, after a quick discussion and recommendation, my order was in. An order of mini cornbread muffins arrived soon after. This is a great little country restaurant right here in the city of Memphis! Service was great, food was excellent and huge portions even on the kids plate. The pie was amazing!! We tried the coconut and blackberry cobbler. Just like grandma used to make. Will be back. Price and portion was awesome!
