Food was great and server was kind. We went on a weekday around 1pm in hopes for a quiet setting for special needs teenager who is learning to place her own order and enjoy a good meal. Our server, Max, was patient and accurately took our order. Fried mushroom appetizer, fish n chips, French onion soup and butter cake was our selection and we enjoyed it all. Manager checked on us too and over all a great experience.

After an absurd amount of wonderful times I've had here, this review is long overdue. Houlihan’s in Holmdel is my favorite restaurant, no question. I’ve been going for close to 15 years and have never had a bad meal a single time. The stuffed mushrooms, fish tacos, and scallops over risotto are my top 3 choices and are unreal every time. At this point it feels like more than just a restaurant, it’s a place where everyone feels like family. Easiest 5 Star Review in the World

This location is my wife and I's favorite date night spot. However, we brought our children on our recent visit. The service is always a 5 star experience. On our recent visit, we had Sabrena as a server and she was amazing! Sabrena was polite, caring, flexible, informative, and, most importantly, insightful. For example, we ordered kids meals, which come with ice cream. Instead of openly bringing that detail to our attention in front of the kids, she subtly dropped an artsy note asking if we wanted there or to go.
