Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Waited a reasonable amount of time for our food given the size of our party and all the dishes. Our family has been enjoying the Midway Meal House for over 15 years. We have celebrated birthdays, Mother's Day, and graduations on top of regular visits. Our most recent visit had a group of 16 with kids and adults. The orders range from county fried steak, hamburgers, catfish, fried shrimp, and hotdogs for the kids along with all the fixing. The sides were fries, green beans, squash casserole, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, greens, and okra. Everything was cooked to perfection as if your mamaw was cooking in the kitchen. "Momma Would Be Proud - So Would Grandma..." Have now eaten here several times everything taste wonderful - just like a trip to grandma's place 😋 So far I have had... Liver and onions... Meatloaf... Country Fried Steak... And more... All was excellent and the service is superb even during off hours. Meatloaf was as close to my mother's secret recipie as I've ever heard...even had a red sauce and crispy top like Mom's (only thing missing was the broiled bacon 🥓 stretched across the top....
