I was pleasantly surprised by our experience here! When we walked in they said they were running behind and that food orders would be a 20+ min wait. We were seated, and the food order came out in no time! Our server was nice & patient. I tried the Sweet Carolina sandwich- it definitely hit the spot! Sonny's certainly has a homey, all-American vibe. My only critique was that the table was a bit sticky when we sat down.

The food and service is good. No wait and friendly staff. My only complaint or what didn't get my five star is the UPCHARGES that didn't not explain by the server so when we get the check its a surprised. Money is not an issue its just the principle. Its not the 1st time that we been in sonny's but its the 1st time that its not explained the upcharges. The server is good but he's just not oriented. Would i recommend this place to family or friends? Absolutely
