Taplist is generally decent, with the likes of Surly and some local flair. The food is lacking. Burgers are small and weak for the price you pay. My coworkers keep telling me how good they are, but I feel like people who find these burgers good have never had a burger outside the state of ND. Not only that, but if you sit at the bar, the fryers are right there, and man, does it smell greasy. I don't know, JL's is convenient for a decent beer and a bite to eat, but the value isn't there.
