Locals love this pizza shop in the mission. Quick and easy for eating in and to-go. There’s a little room to eat inside but most take it out. $7 for a slice of cheese surprised me until I saw the slice. It was made to order so I waited a bit but worth it. The slice was basically two slices inside. They sure do load up the plate. Sturdy slice, great for an energy booster. If you’re not too hungry, you could even share each slice.

I lived above Serranos a bunch of years back and LOVED their pizza. I’ve recommended them to everyone I know searching for east coast style pizza (thin, yet bubbly risen crust and fresh and plentiful toppings). Tonight was the first time ordering in a year and so and I’m sad to say I was really disappointed. Toppings were sparse and the crust was flat and cardboard-like. I’m wondering, have they changed owners?

Just be aware that even though they close at 11pm they tell you they close at 10:45pm. Not sure why your hours would say you close at 11 online and you tell people you close at 10:45pm. When I asked abut this they said sorry our kitchen closes 15-30 minutes before then. Pizza is pretty mid anyways.
