I wanted a nice steak dinner before I left the area and Fifth Avenue Syndicate fit the bill. It was a calm relaxed atmosphere and very attentive service. The steak was cooked well and tender, I would give this a 4.5 stars if that option was available, the only issue I had was that the demi glace sauce was salty and combined with the rub on the steak it was a bit much. The desert was wonderful and a perfect way to end the dinner.

I love the atmosphere at 5th Ave.Syndicate, upscale restaurant. Food potentially really good, but inconsistent! We have been there and it was wonderful! Other times steaks ( strip) cold, frits, also cold! Have to send back! Tonight my husband's birthday, he loved his steak, I had the mussels and fries, and side salad. My mussels were gritty (sand). I understand from our server, a common complaint. The garlic sauce, to die for! CHEF, Google, how to soak mussels in salt water to get rid of sand or grit! For an upscale restaurant, unexceptible! Inconsistentcy, kills a restaurant.

This was a wine dinner. It seemed that this may have been their 1st wine dinner. The table was beautiful; the dinner very good..though there could be a few improvements regarding some course composition. The wines were good and the pours generous. The wait staff covering the large group( +/- 19 guests) were very attentive. The dessert was FABULOUS! After dinner we were then given a copy of the menu (which previous to this point we did not receive,) along with the wine price list for wines served should we want to purchase. The food is very very good considering how affordable most of the menu items are. We have always had really great service, and their wine list is really excellent. As an added bonus, the lighting and seating is very well thought out. None of those horrible high top tables that everyone hates. 10/10!
