Schooners exceeded every expectation and was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The oceanfront setting is absolutely stunning, and every dish was as beautiful as it was delicious. Came here on a Saturday night for a date because we wanted a nice seafood dinner with an ocean view. We made a reservation the day before and got a table outside on the pier right by the water during sunset. We started with the half dozen oysters and the coastal clam chowder bread bowl. The oysters were some of the freshest I’ve had and tasted really clean. The clam chowder was New England style without bacon, which I liked, and it was buttery with plenty of clams. I treated myself to dinner here to carb load before the Big Sur marathon and omg, it was everything and more. Service was amazing. I was seated quickly indoors with an ocean view. Waiter came by promptly with a menu and water. I got a drink to treat myself and ordered the gnocchi and burrata. Then treated myself to their cheesecake with coffee and it was just superb. I would absolutely recommend this place for a fancy fine dining experience.

This is a beautiful restaurant right next to the water. They also have heaters so you don’t get cold while dining next to water. We ordered halibut fish, chicken, buttered pasta and seafood platter and they were all very delicious. Our waitress was Rebekah and she was very nice. And there was a sea otter very close by in the water, it was fun to watch that while eating.
