Cafe 44 in Morton Grove is one of those places that feels effortless and calm. The space is open with high wooden ceilings and warm lighting. Clean, simple design with a peaceful atmosphere. It’s the kind of café where you can truly slow down. I ordered a Cappuccino and a Pistachio Latte. Both were smooth and well balanced. The pistachio latte stood out lightly sweet, refined, and beautifully finished. You can taste the care in each cup. They also offer a nice selection of pastries and desserts at the counter. Me and my acquaintances recently visited this wonderful café. We tried the strawberry refresher the Matcha and the delightful chocolate croissant. Everything was phenomenal and our food came out within seconds. The barista that was helping us out was super sweet and nice. We will definitely be coming back this summer for many further visits. I definitely recommend you to try out this hidden gem with their amazing food and coffee! The atmosphere was a perfect relaxed and smoothing study spot or just to catch up with friends. I definitely would return as it was very nice.

Cafe 44 is spacious and bright. The pastries are well assorted. They asked me three times if I wanted a hot latte in my own cup. It took about 10 minutes for my order. The latte was creamy and balanced, but nothing special. The bathrooms are clean, with no code needed, which is a plus. There is plenty of parking.
