I was tired of making breakfast at home, so I headed over to IHOP for National Pancake Day. The Mt Juliet location has loads of windows, which I appreciate on a sunny day. They originally tried to seat me at a booth in the middle of the restaurant, which was way too dark. When I asked to move seats, they were nice about it. I ordered the French Toast, with bacon and scrambled eggs. And since it was National Pancake Day, they gave me a 3-stack for free. The French Toast was big and fluffy, exactly the way I like it. I don't think I've ever had a better French Toast than what arrived with today's "Split Decision" Breakfast. Thick, fluffy and lightly powdered along with some well steamed Turkey Sausage and what tasted like low-sodium bacon made for an excellent combo. The servers were super friendly and the food prep was fast enough to balance out speed with presentation perfectly.

We went to have brunch for mother's day today. There was no wait when we arrived, we were seated right away. The waiter, Draven, greeted us promptly with a smile. He was great! The food came hot and fresh and everything we ordered was DELISH!
