I have come to love this little place. The owner is present sometimes, and is very pleasant to talk to and welcoming. The rest of the staff are wonderful and very attentive. The food is never not excellent; I come here on average once a week or 2, and have never once left thinking there would have been a better place to go. Atmosphere is more akin to cafeteria style seating/tables, but I am not complaining. This place has very good food, the options look like authentic Japanese food, not the Americanized revisions. There is a daily menu, so the available meals might vary from day to day, but they are still good. Portions are little smaller than typical, but that's aligned with the authenticity. Prices a little high for the amount of food, but they are still acceptable. We visited on Wed early evening (only one than our table was occupied), so I'm not sure how the staff is at busy, but our experience was a little lackluster. Love the food and it’s on point all the time. We love the chashu ramen and bento box entree. Pork tonkatsu is juicy and crispy on the outside. My hubby likes the chicken karaage and Taiwanese Style Tonkatsu Ramen. The price is reasonable. I’ve seen japanese people eat here so it must be authentic! This is a hidden gem. You wont notice it right away while driving by Golf Rd but it’s a must try.
