Debisree Ray★★★★I visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening for dinner. It wasn’t very crowded, and we were seated right away. The atmosphere was relaxed , a comfortable spot for conversation over a meal. We started with fried calamari. It was decent but fairly basic ; nothing particularly memorable. We skipped drinks and stuck with water. For the main course, my friend ordered a sandwich with fries, and I went with a trio of sliders, also served with fries. The sliders were good and satisfying. The fries were fine as well, though they could have used a bit more seasoning , just lightly salted and otherwis
Xeniya B★★★★★This place has a nice medium size patio that’s hidden away. Lots of bees to pick from and food portions are pretty big. We didn’t expect soups to be this large. Overall food we tasted was pretty good. Service was solid as well considering this place was busy. Note: this place charges 5% small business fee.
James Poston★★Last I visited Steins was right before their announcement they were closing, and while initially was relieved they hadn’t, I now regret going back to see what they’re like now. The menu is totally changed, but they did have pretzel and schnitzel, which I ordered. While the pretzel was good, the schnitzel was the worst I’ve eaten in my life. Pork cutlet was overcooked and tough, the breading burned, and the “spätzle” was just macaroni. Sauerkraut was bone dry. My Oma would’ve wept. Service was good, and they had a fine selection of beers, but I won’t be stopping in for food again.
Michael Johnson★★★★★Always a great time. Great drinks, beer, and food. Accomidates a large party well. Good patio.
