Midtown Cafe was the highlight of our Nashville trip. From the very first morning, we were blown away. Not just by the food, but by the overall experience. We loved it so much that we came back every single morning of our stay. The food was absolutely incredible. Fresh, flavorful, & consistently perfect every time. Everything we tried tasted homemade & thoughtfully prepared, & you could tell they really care about quality. It quickly became something we looked forward to waking up for each day. What made it even more special was our waitress, Chandell. We requested her every time because she

I made a reservation for brunch before I had to head to work because I saw they had gluten free options. I ordered the huevos tostada and it was amazing! It was such a large portion I couldn’t finish it all the way but the flavor was amazing and I loved the green sauce that came with it. My server was very kind and if I’m in the area again I’ll definitely eat here. Just a word of advice, make a reservation because the day before I arrived and it was packed inside. It’s quite a small place so you want to make sure you reserve a table.

The host was super friendly. I felt welcomed the moment I stepped inside. The lemon artichoke soup was divine. It was light yet filling. I really enjoyed the blackened grouper with gouda grits. The seasoning was perfect. Many restaurants add too much salt. This meal was perfect. My server was accommodating, unfortunately I can’t remember his name.

Yes! The positive reviews are accurate. The negative? More likely from on off day, or a highly critical reviewer. The shrimp and grits was as expected- fantastic!! The blueberry lemon drop martini was understated, but good. I've had more flavorful ones elsewhere but it was still good. I'm coming back for breakfast next time I'm in town 😋
