Class class class. I’m so glad my husband and I were wandering by hungry yesterday afternoon and he spotted the menu outside. We went upstairs, sat at the bar, and had an incredible late lunch. Unique cocktails (I’ll have 4 lychee cocktails, thank you). Huge shoutout to bartender JT who was so fun to hang out with, helpful with the menu, and attentive. Best meal we had in Chicago.

I think I just expected an amazing work experience on my palate but that didn’t happen. Some of their dishes tasted good such as the lotus root salad, and their duck, but the other food I ordered was just moderately good. The service was impeccable though. And the Ambience was very relaxing.

Le Colonial is hands down our favorite Chicago restaurant. The atmosphere is so unique and cozy, especially during Chicago winter. You feel like you’ve been transformed. The food is high quality ingredients, each bit is full of flavor and veggies. It’s delightful! And the service is next level. Located on Oak Street, we have started to come here for every special occasion. And now that we are celebrating more often at home with a little one, Le Colonial takeout is our favorite! SO DELICIOUS! Highly recommend the chicken curry and shaking beef. Can’t recommend Le Colonia enough.

Place is a vibe! Went for dinner during our mini moon and did not disappoint. Shaking beef was a star. Wish we got all the 1993 menu staples, they even rolled out the red carpet for our amazing mango dessert. The bar is an absolute vibe.
